That's pretty much it. I have a crack that I get to watch spreading daily. Knowing that I don't have the extra $250 I'd need to get it fixed.
I was sitting here trying to think of something to add that wasn't grumpy or depressing when I ran across someone with the screen name "Queefer Sutherland". That is good for at least 10 seconds of laughter.

Sometimes your insurance covers that stuff for free. Especially if it happened while driving. I suppose they figure they would rather fix the small thing than wait for to get in an accident when your windshield falls apart.
There's also a place here in town that advertises paying your deductible up to $100...
